The Tatts have been added to the Guns 'n' Roses shows
in New Zealand, and another show has been added to

Geordie Is Back! 06/04/07
The Tatts have announced that Geordie Leach will
indeed be back with the band for the upcoming
tour with Guns 'n' Roses. It's also likely that
Geordie will do the Europe dates later this summer!

Kingy leaves the Tatts! 05/20/07
Bass player Steve King is leaving Rose Tattoo to pursue
his own musical goals. Angry and the band wish Kingy all
the best in his new endeavors. According to Angry:
"These are definitely the last days for Rose Tattoo, and
and we need to go out being true to ourselves. The
songs that Mick and I are writing are taking a different
direction, those that like the BLOOD BROTHERS album will
understand the next album, we are headed to where we
started, as with all things we will move in a circular
journey. Mick coming back in the band is part of that
journey, and in keeping with that philosophy, I will
ask Geordie Leach to come back and play with us for a
while and see if that will work. There are no guarantees
in life, but if you are prepared to take chances you can
live life to the fullest. We wish Steve every success
for the future."

Lobby Loyde R.I.P 04/22/07
Another member of the Rose Tattoo family has lost
a battle with cancer. Lobby Loyde, legendary Aussie
muso and originator of the Australian hard rockin'
guitar sound, passed away Saturday night after a
two year battle with the disease. Among his many
accomplishments were a stint as Rose Tattoo's bass
player, and production of several X albums.

Tatts & GNR...together again 04/08/07
The Tatts will be supporting Guns 'n' Roses
during their June tour of Australia. Tickets
go on sale April 26th. Here's the story from

Guns N' Roses firing for tour
April 05, 2007
Hard rock band Guns N'Roses will tour Australia for the
first time in 14 years in June. The band, featuring singer
Axl Rose as the only original member, will play Rod Laver
Arena on June 15. Tickets go on sale on April 26.
Gns N'Roses' last Australian tour was 1993 when they played
a Calder Park, causing a traffic jam 30km from the city.
Promoter Paul Dainty said the band would play a 2 1/2 hour
set featuring new material and greatest hits.
"They're not taking the full show everywhere, but for Australia
and New Zealand we get the entire Chinese Democracy production,
with video wall, full set, the whole enchilada," he said.
The still-unreleased Chinese Democracy album is reportedly
the most expensive ever made, with $13 million spent over 10
years of recording sessions.
Supports acts for the June tour will be Rose Tattoo and ex-Skid
Row singer Sebastian Bach.

Farewell to Puffin' Billy 03/01/07
It's sad to report that another Aussie Rock Legend has passed on.
Billy Thorpe died on Feb. 28th after suffering a massive heart
attack. Thorpie's hugely successful career included a legendary
appearance with the Tatts at Boggo Road in 1993. More info on

Tour Date Changes 02/25/07
Saxon singer Biff Byford is battling the flu, so the
Tatts UK dates with Saxon will be rescheduled to July.
Also, there have been some changes in the Russian dates
...and a new Australian date has been announced.

I found three Tatts interviews online. The first is an
extensive audio interview of Angry by Richard Fidler,

The second is a few minutes of backstage footage with
Angry & Kingy at the 2006 Meredith Music Festival, and

The third is an interview with Angry while he was in

The Guitar Heroes site has two cool Dai Pritchard videos
from 2005. In the first, Dai tears it up on "Red House", and
the second is an interview where he discusses his approach to
guitar playing. There's also a rockin' clip of Angry & Kingy
ripping through Jumping Jack Flash at the 2006 Tamworth Country
