Rose Tattoo Warm-up Show
Location: Army & Navy Pub Chelmsford Essxex
Date: 29.5.2001.
Rose Tattoo played this secret warm-up gig
at the Army & Navy Pub in Essex. The Tatts
haven’t hit these shores for 2 decades.
I was privileged to attend this warm-up show
Thanks to Sean Hudson & Joe at Future Management.
A full 15 song set list blew away the local
punters at the Army & Navy Pub. Around 100
people enjoyed the Tatts set.
Angry did his usual ranting & raving, giving
the crowd abuse, with Peter Wells arse kicking
slide guitar girding to the old chest nuts such
as Bad Boy For Love and Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw. That’s
why this bands so special and have lots of talent.
Steve King’s excellent bass guitar playing
during The Butcher & Fast Eddy was just amazing and
Rocking Rob Riley kicks a mean Rhythm sound during
Rock n Roll Is King and Scarred For Life. Paul DeMarco
did a great intro to We Can’t Be Beaten and to Nice boys
Don’t Play Rock n Roll...you wanna bet! These guys are
back and souding better and better. It shouldn’t have
taken the Tatts this long to play the U.K.
I hope the Tatts come back again again, we need down to
earth bands like THE TATTS and not these crap new
bands of to-day.
THE TATTS finished off with We Can’t Be Beaten and
Suicide City. It was a great night of pure Rock 'n' Roll
and we need more of it.

Rose Tattoo start off their first U.K Tour 2001 at the
Milton Keynes Woughton Lesure Centre to an average crowd
of locals.
Rose Tattoo hit the stage promoting their 25 To Life

Germany last year.
The Tatts strolled onto the stage and burst into Out Of This Place
then went straight into Bad boy For Love. The crowd loved every
minute of the Tatts performace.

Rose Tattoo hit the stage to a full house at the Mean Fiddler
show to a welcome return to London.
The crowd got really crazy as soon as THE TATTS burst
into their usual sound of rock n roll. Rose Tattoo opened
the show with Out Of This Place, they went straight into
Bad Boy For Love. Rose Tattoo were out to boogie through
the night at the London Astoria. The Tatts playing the
same set they played at Wacken open Air Festival in Germany
last year. The Tatts are here to promote their 25 To Life
Double best of Live CD.
Angry did his usual Ranting & Raving at the London audience
giving them pelters during the end of Scarred For Life. Rocking
Rob Riley pulling some amazing faces towards Angry and Bass
player Steve King who’s inro to the old Chestnut The Butcher &
Fast Eddy and the awesome slide guitar of Peter Wells playing a
Flying V guitar, Paul DeMarco does an amazing drum intro on
We Can’t Be Beaten...a crowd pleasing song which got everyone
singing to. You can't get enough of Rose Tattoo music, it’s the
best Rock n Roll I've heard sinceThe Rolling Stones.
At the end of the set Rose Tattoo finished off with Nice Boys Don’t
Play Rock 'n' Roll and Suicide City. Angry never collapsed down at
the end of Suicide City.
Apart from that it was a great show I hope somones got it on Video.
